Nylon insert lock nuts in solid brass to DIN 985: a hex nut with a nylon ring that grips the bolt thread to resist loosening from vibration. Brass is corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic and electrically conductive, with a warm gold color for decorative hardware, electrical, plumbing, marine trim and instrument assembly. 3 thread sizes (M5 × 0.8 to M12 × 1.75). Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
