About Bulk-Only Items
Some fasteners on Fastenio are marked Bulk-Only. These items aren't kept in our warehouse — they're drop-shipped directly from our supplier on demand. Here's how the model works and what to expect.
Single pack quantity
Bulk-only items ship as one full supplier pack. You order in pack multiples (e.g. 1 pack, 2 packs, 3 packs). No partial packs.
Per-piece pricing
One per-piece price, no laddered tiers — bulk pricing is already baked in.
7–10 day lead time
Bulk-only items ship 7–10 business days after the supplier minimum is met. We batch supplier orders to keep your prices low.
Free US shipping
The supplier minimum is a cart-side gate only. US shipping to you is still always free.
Our supplier minimum
Our supplier offers free inbound shipping once combined orders reach a set threshold. That savings is what lets us keep bulk-only pricing this low.
Whenever you have a bulk-only item in your cart, you'll see a Bulk Supplier Order Progress indicator near the cart total: a progress bar showing how close your cart is to the threshold. Once the bar fills, checkout unlocks and your order goes through.
All compatible items in your cart count toward the threshold — bulk-only items AND items we normally stock that come from the same supplier. Mixed carts unlock the gate faster.
Important: the gate only decides whether checkout is allowed. Items we stock keep their normal volume-tier pricing — they don't get re-priced to bulk just because a bulk-only item is in the cart.
How to use it
- Add the bulk-only item you want. Check the MOQ on the product page.
- Look at the cart progress bar. If it's below the threshold, add more compatible items — the bar fills as you go.
- Once you see ✓ Supplier minimum met — ready to ship, checkout proceeds normally.
- We place the supplier order, receive it, repack, and ship your items in 7–10 business days. You get free US standard shipping like every other order.
