Nylon insert lock nuts in C651 silicon bronze to ASME B18.16.6 — a light hex nut with a nylon ring that grips the bolt thread to resist loosening from vibration. Silicon bronze resists saltwater corrosion, is non-magnetic and will not rust, which makes it the traditional choice for boatbuilding, docks and marine hardware, and for exterior wood and architectural work where it weathers to a natural patina. 3 sizes (3/8-16 to 1/2-13).
