1/4-20 x 5/16" 6-prong tee nuts in 18-8 Stainless Steel wax coated. Six prongs — maximum bite and rotation resistance, favoured for softwoods, particleboard and hopper-fed production. Tee nuts anchor from the back face of the workpiece: the prongs are pressed into wood, plywood, particleboard or composite and bite in to stop the nut turning, while the barrel carries the machine thread. Common in furniture and cabinetry, climbing holds, speaker and equipment cabinets, jigs and knock-down assemblies. There is no single dimensional standard for tee nuts — dimensions below are the values we stock. Flange 3/4", barrel 0.305" dia. Sold in bulk multiples.
