Split (helical spring) lock washers in silicon bronze, medium section to ASME B18.21.1. The split coil acts as a spring under the nut or bolt head to keep tension in the joint. Silicon bronze resists saltwater corrosion, is non-magnetic and will not rust, which makes it the traditional choice for boatbuilding, docks and marine hardware, and for exterior wood and architectural work where it weathers to a natural patina. 6 sizes (#8 to 5/8").
