M6 Carriage Bolts 18-8 Stainless Steel

Bulk-pack M6 round head square neck carriage bolts in 18-8 Stainless Steel to DIN 603. A carriage bolt has a smooth domed head with no drive and a square shoulder beneath it. Driven into a round hole in timber or a matching square hole in steel, the shoulder bites and holds the bolt against rotation so the assembly can be tightened from the nut alone, with nothing gripping the head. The low dome leaves no protruding drive to snag, collect water or be tampered with — standard in deck and fence framing, timber structures, trailer beds, playground and marine fit-out. Lengths up to 6" are supplied fully threaded; longer lengths are partially threaded, and the thread length shown is the DIN 603 guaranteed minimum.
