#8 x 3/4" Square drive pan head self drilling screws (tek screws) with a #2 drill point, in 18-8 stainless steel to IFI-113. The drill point cuts its own hole and the self-drilling thread (8-18) taps it in one step, with no pilot hole, in steel about 0.035" to 0.100" thick (20 to 12 ga). The pan head has a flat bearing face and a #2 square drive (Robertson) recess, which resists cam-out. A yellow zinc plating gives a gold-coloured finish. 18-8 stainless self-drillers are softer than 410 and are best for aluminium and light-gauge steel; for heavier steel use 410. Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
