#8 Flat Head Deck Screws with Nibs Square Drive Stainless Steel 305

#8 flat head deck screws in 305 stainless steel, with a square drive (Robertson) recess that resists cam-out. The 82° flat head has nibs under the head that cut a clean countersink as it seats, so the head sits flush even in hardwood decking. The Type 17 point has a cutting notch that drills its own pilot as it goes, which reduces splitting near board ends. The coarse thread runs partway up the shank, so the board pulls down tight to the framing. 305 is an 18-8 family stainless with extra nickel for cold forming; it resists corrosion outdoors and will not stain cedar or redwood. 5 lengths (1-1/4" to 3").
