#6 Frearson oval head wood screws in silicon bronze, ASME B18.6.1: an 82° countersunk head with a raised, decorative oval top, Frearson (Reed & Prince) cross recess - a sharper, deeper cross than Phillips that resists cam-out and is the boatbuilder's standard for bronze screws, and a coarse partial (2/3) thread with gimlet point. Silicon bronze resists saltwater corrosion, is non-magnetic and will not rust, which makes it the traditional choice for boatbuilding, docks and marine hardware, and for exterior wood and architectural work where it weathers to a natural patina. 2 lengths (1" to 1-1/2"). Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
