5/16" hex washer head sheet metal screws, Type A, in zinc-plated steel to ASME B18.6.4. Sharp gimlet point and widely spaced thread (9 threads per inch) for fastening thin sheet metal, plastics and wood. The hex head has a built-in washer face that spreads the load and protects the surface, with a 1/2" external hex for a nut driver or socket. Case-hardened steel with a clear trivalent zinc plating for light corrosion protection in indoor or dry locations. 2 lengths (3/4" to 1-1/2"). Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
