5/16-18 x 1" hex washer head thread cutting screws, Type F, in 18-8 stainless steel to ASME B18.6.3. Machine-screw thread with a blunt, slotted cutting point that cuts its own mating thread in pre-drilled or cored holes in sheet metal, castings and plastics, giving a thread that takes a standard machine screw. The hex head has a built-in washer face that spreads the load and protects the surface, with a 1/2" external hex for a nut driver or socket. Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
