#12 x 1" hex washer head self drilling screws (tek screws) with a bonded sealing washer with a #3 drill point, in 316 stainless steel to IFI-113. The drill point cuts its own hole and the self-drilling thread (12-14) taps it in one step, with no pilot hole, in steel about 0.100" to 0.175" thick (12 to 7 ga). The hex head has a built-in washer face that spreads the load, with a 5/16" external hex for a nut driver or socket. The bonded sealing washer seals the hole against water. 316 stainless adds molybdenum for salt-water and chemical resistance; like 18-8, it is best for aluminium and light-gauge steel. Sold in production-volume bulk packs.
